Palliative care is an interdisciplinary specialty focused on symptom management, quality of life and relief of distress for patients with serious illness.

This one-hour presentation describes the palliative philosophy of care and how it differs from hospice care. This comprehensive course is delivered by expert palliative care clinician Dr. Birinder Marwah. We will provide one CEU credit for social workers, nurses, case managers and nursing home administrators who attend.
